The Prizes
In the final round of competition, from all the Finalists in each of our ten categories, the Judges will select one Grand Prize winning script. Our 2008 Grand Prize Winner will receive:

In all, the judges will present 31 Awards, totaling over $30,000 in cash and prizes. Most importantly, if you win one of our prizes, we will make every effort to publicize and promote your winning script. A press release introducing you and your script will be sent to our list of industry contacts – including over 2,500 Hollywood agents, managers, and executives. You will also receive the following prize package from our co-sponsor InkTip: 1) An email announcement about your winning script sent to InkTip's list of over 6,500 industry professionals. 2) Your title and logline featured in InkTip's Players Marketplace magazine, which is snail-mailed to 4,500 Hollywood insiders. 3) At your discretion, you may place your logline, synopsis, treatment and/or script in InkTip's online database, a password-protected search engine utilized by hundreds of producers and agents every day. Winners in the television categories will also receive a six-month Membership and Project Archival at The Television Writers Vault, the TV industry's project database, used by top production companies and networks scouting original concepts and scripts for television. In addition, all winners will receive a free listing in the SellAScript Script Marketplace, a private database for industry professionals actively looking for new material. SellAScript.com will also provide our Grand Prize Winner with a personalized Script Express query letter sent to over 3,000 industry professionals, featured placement in The Hollywood Bugle, and free access to the SellAScript Writer's Rolodex, containing complete contact information for over 2,800 production companies, producers, agents, managers, and development executives. Any and all professional inquiries resulting from the judging process and media blitz will be sent directly to you or your designated representative, giving you a shot at the ultimate prize – the chance to become a working screenwriter in Hollywood.
